1930's golden liquid satin wedding dress / old Hollywood / short puffed sleeves / cathedral train / bias cut / size XS

This stunning vintage gown is from the late 1920's-early 1930's. It is made in a sumptuous liquid satin in a gorgeous shade of golden ivory. It features a weighted cowl neckline and intricate pleating. The hourglass silhouette is achieved by it's bias cut and unique seeming. The bottom of the dress flares out slightly with pleated trim. There is a unique cathedral train attached to the back of the skirt which gives this gown an added bit of drama! Although it is sewn in I think it could be modified to become detachable. This dress is handmade and unlined. It's a pull over style and has a snap closure going up the side of the gown.

*Condition* Very good vintage condition. The only flaw I noticed is a faint gray mark across the train. It almost looks like a shadow. Cleaned and ready to wear.

For reference: Model is 5'3" and not wearing heels. Bust 31" Waist 25-26" hips 35". I think this dress would work best for someone under 5'5" and with a little bit narrower hips. I think the original bride was rather slim, narrow, and straight including her shoulders and hips. There is a lot of extra fabric that could be taken from the train if you need to make some alterations.
