1930's ivory silk velvet puffed sleeve wedding dress with satin slip / Size XXS XS / bias cut / covered buttons / art deco

Stunning and rare 1930's silk velvet puffed sleeve wedding gown. Soft ivory velvet gown with darker cream accents in a unique basket weave style floral design. Gathered bust and bias cut through the waist and hips. Velvet covered buttons down back. Original fingerless gloves will also be included with the gown. Unlined and handmade. Original satin slip included and can even be worn as a separate dress! The satin slip has alternating hook and eye/snap closure in the back.

*Condition* Very good vintage condition. One small hole in the back near the waist. I mended it, but it's still slightly visible. Some discoloration on the buttons and a few faint stains on the skirt that didn't fully come out with cleaning. Cleaned and ready to wear! (I'll be adding condition photos shortly)

*Dress story* I received this gown directly from the granddaughter. She said her great grandmother had a clothing store in NYC and her grandmother was first generation Lithuanian. I will be selling the little bag and headpiece that came with the gown separately.

(Model is 5'3" 31" bust, 25" waist and it was a little tight through the shoulders so it definitely wouldn't work for someone broad shouldered without alterations. Best for someone quite petite!)
