This elegant wedding dress is an authentic early 1940's gown. It features an off-the-shoulder neckline with iridescent sequin design. Fitted through the bodice with boning for support and side hook and eye closure. Soft ivory liquid satin fabric and A-line silhouette. Covered button at the back. This dress is unlined and appears handmade. It's such a unique design for the late 30's to early 40's! I was able to date it as such since the sequins are actually made from gelatin (You don't want to get them wet!)

*Condition* Good vintage condition. The dress does not have any major stains and no holes, but is overall a little dusty and has some dinginess at the hem from touching the ground. It was cleaned once, but was in my personal collection for years. I haven't cleaned it again because it has gelatin sequins which will melt in water. They already became a little distorted from the original wash, but remain intact. I think it could be cleaned again if you got creative. It doesn't smell bad or anything so it technically is wearable as is if you aren't a perfectionist!
