1940's satin and lace off the shoulder wedding dress / flutter sleeves / drop waist / size L

This is such an unusual and unique wedding gown from the 1940's. It was very hard to accurately date and it may have been altered some point in it's life. It features silk ribbon straps and off-the-shoulder flutter sleeves made of a floral needle lace. The bodice is a medium weight ivory satin with a drop waist and darts and a sheer lace skirt trimmed with matching satin. There is a small gather on one side of the skirt. This could be easily let out to match the other side. I imagine it originally had some sort of decoration attached. This dress is unlined and was shown worn over a full slip with the straps hanging off the shoulder. The skirt is completely unlined so a slip or lining would be needed. (Slip not included) Pull over style with no closures. Handmade.

*Condition* Very good vintage condition. The dress has been cleaned and there are no obvious flaws.

Estimated size Large (Please be aware that I pulled the gown tight to show a proper fit since it was not my size. Refer to the measurements below.)
