1950's Lace and Taffeta Party Dress / Dusty Rose / Antique Lace / XXS

What a find this is! I was a bit confused trying to date this dress, but I did some digging to discover this was a "Vogue Special Design" pattern made in the 1950's using 1930's lace! I love that people were up-cycling even back then!

The dress is made of two independent layers. The underneath layer is made of a finely tailored taffeta. The outer later is made of delicate 1930's lace and the bodice is reinforced with taffeta. This dress would look fantastic with a crinoline underneath. Metal zipper side closure on both the slip and outer dress.

XXS- possibly made for a pre-teen or very tiny lady!

Bust- 28-29"
Waist- 24"
Hips- Open
Length- 47"

*Condition* Very good-excellent vintage condition. Lace is in incredible shape for it's age! One small mend at the waist, loose seams fixed. Lace straps show the most wear. The dress has been cleaned and is ready to wear!
